It might be esthetically please but I'm increasing noticing that many developers are designing the smaller font size. In many apps and dekstop app settings the base font size is 9. I can understand the need for this on a smartphone, but on a tablet as my desktop replacement I need and want to read comfortably. On my surface pro many element fonts are preposterously small, font size 9 and smaller. Yes, if there are any settings that can change the font size then let that be it.
